Lots of Love

Here's hoping everyone one had a great Thanksgiving & it continues into the other holiday's. Chris, Tryson & I have so much to be thankful for these holiday's especially. It warmed my heart & brought tears to my eyes when Tryson's teacher approached me a few weeks back (right before thanksgiving) & was explaining what they were working on in class. She explained they were sharing what they were thankful for.

He said he was thankful for his puppy, his grandma, his family & the baby in his mommy's tummy. So you can see why we are more thankful & blessed this holiday season. I hope you all are just as thankful for what you have as we are.

Too blessed to be stressed.....well at least we're trying!

These past couple weeks have been a whirlwind. Between getting things stolen, Tryson starting school & finding a new place to live our emotions don't know where to go. I do know one thing, we are VERY blessed to have what we do have & that is each other. I am TRYING not to worry about material items but when a insurance investigator agent is completely rude to you & says things like "Do you understand" in a demeaning way, it gets a bit much. Oh & then proceeds to be "done" with the conversation & hangs up unbeknown to me. But in the the same breath we are so great full to be moving into a great area...into a great home. Like I said emotions are all over the place. I just wanted to take the time to vent & thank the family & friends that have keep us in their thoughts & prayers. It means so much. I keep on saying to myself, "And this too shall pass", "We will get through this" it's just hard believing it when your going through it.

In other news we made another step into the married life together.....we bought our FIRST washer & dryer set. :) We got a good deal on it & I can't WAIT to use it in our new home. No more going up & down the stairs, no more stolen laundry, no more doing laundry in the rain & (as one friend reminded me) falling on the slippery moss. It is going to be great & grand. I don't think I have EVER been this excited about laundry in my life. Chris is excited too.....he told me & I quote, "Now I can fluff clothes in the morning!" Tryson is so eager to pack his room up but I don't think he understands once the toys are packed we can't unpack them until we bring them to the new place.

You all should be getting a special post card with our change of address & NEW home phone # (that's a first too) & the next week or two. Be blessed to all our family & friends.

YAY! Were MOVING!

Yay! We got it! We were looking to move out of this small apartment that is in a not so good area. So we went on the hunt. Found a couple good candidates but one really caught our eye. This is a duplex with 4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, 3 living areas and side yard with patio in the back in a WONDERFUL area. I can't tell you how excited we are. :) So we will be moving at the end of this month.

Other than that.....Tryson had his first day of school yesterday. He was so excited to go. He has the same teacher this year as last & just adores her. So he has a very great first day. I am interested to see how well he adjust to the 3 day a week school year. I'm sure he will do great but I am anticipating a nap everyday. He fell asleep on the way home from school yesterday. Hope all is well!

Our Family (1 1/2 years later)

Well as you all know we haven't really been the best at keeping our blog up to date. But I wanna change that and have it come alive again. So my promise to you, our family & friends, is that if you read it we will continue to post on it. :)

Well what it going on here? Good question and there could be many answers to that question. Well first and foremost (as always). Tryson is doing great. He starts his first day of school tomorrow & he is really excited. He is going to be 4 in 2 months & that is just a shocker in it own right. To think of it 3 years ago he was just 10 months when we moved here & now he is going to be 4! Blows our minds. He is becoming very independent. Loves to make us laugh & frustrate us all at once. He has learn what compromise is and uses it every chance he gets. Funny story: Just last night he asked Chris if he could have some hot chocolate and Chris told him no. Well unbeknown to me Tryson came up to me and asked me if he could have some hot chocolate & I told him yes. So we go to the kitchen and I am about to start making it. Chris asked what I was doing I tell him and we figure out that he tricked us. His simple answer was well you told me no so I asked mommy. Oh and he is in that lovely stage where the word ::POOP:: is the funniest thing in the world.

Chris & I just celebrated our 3 year anniversary. We went to Las Vegas with our good friends Sarah & Phil. Had a wonderful time & can't wait for our next trip. :) My sis Christa, bro Stephen & niece Anabelle came out to WA to visit & be with Tryson while we were in Vegas. I LOVED the one on one time with all of them. Can't wait to have them out again. Chris just started school bad up so we are going to be pretty busy with him working (6 days a week & overtime), Chris going to school & Tryson in school with an organized sport on the side. But we love the busyness & wouldn't have it any other way :-P We are currently looking to move to a better area & a bigger space. Hoping & praying we get this place we just applied for. Other than that we are looking forward to our new niece Olivia coming in the world soon, Halloween which Tryson is planning on being a knight, Tryson turning 4 & as always coming home for Christmas! :) I hope you all are doing well.

Be Blessed!

What's been going on since December?

It's been a little while since we have written. We've been pretty boring lately though so it's no big deal I guess. Chris has been working about 50 hours a week. Stashia has been holding down the fort, cutting hair and being social with Tryson. Tryson has been developing into a happy, active little boy as usual. Speaking of the little guy there have been a couple cute stories, my favorite is:

Stashia (coming home after a busy day): We are going to see someone you love.
Tryson: Uhhh...Pablo?
Stashia: No...who else do you love?
Tryson: Uhhh...Daddy?
Stashia: Yes Daddy!

I know I'm loved but I can't entertain him with new adventures everyday the way his favorite cartoon character can.

My other favorite story ended today...so, I've been without my license for some time now, I looked all over, I am usually pretty good about the stuff that belongs in my wallet. Well, I'm going snowboarding for the first time with some Boeing people tomorrow (yay). I got some gear and I put on my big bulky coat for the first time since I was back home. Well, Stashia says, "Hey, maybe your ID is in your coat" and right in the middle of her sentence I say, "Oh my god..." and it was in there. I last used it in the rush to show my ID at the airport!! So in that coat I found: my ID, a can of pepsi unopened (complimentary drink we never used), $5, a ticket stub for "Yes Man" and a bobby pin. Wow...that's all I can say about that. I'm very happy about it though, I could have a beer when I went out on Friday because I didn't have my ID and guess what? The waitress must have been about 20 herself...really? She couldn't just take my word that I was a year older than her? Ha.

So, other than that, I've been sick a couple times, Stashia was sick for a bit and Tryson has been sick. I'm currently fighting some chest congestion, I believe because of lack of sleep. I could complain about working a lot but I won't because plenty of people are losing their jobs out there and would love to work 50+ hours a week (and I like my job)... and I could sleep but I also choose to stay up with Tryson and Stashia as long as possible. Also, for anyone who was wondering about the news clips from Boeing and the 10,000 layoffs, I should be ok. 10k is about 7% of the workforce...I can't give details but I am about 95% sure I don't fall in that 7% of what the are looking to cut, from what they have said in the news. If you see them talking about laying off another 15k or so, you might want to call and make sure we are ok :-)

Well, that's it, pretty boring right now. Christa is coming to visit in March and Tryson will be doing swim lessons soon, so that should provide a few stories.

Correction to last blog/Christmas Cheer

So in the last blog I said "Fish" which meant "Stash". Jott is a fun program but I forget it doesn't know all my nicknames. It knows Stashia as "STAY-SHA" but doesn't know Stash. You may have been able to figure that out (thanks for picking that up Michelle) but I thought I would clarify.

Anyways, this has been a great vacation and we loved all of the Christmas cheer so far. We are really thankful for all of the things we have received, the fact that I haven't gotten hospital-sick from my cat allergy and of course for being able to spend time with almost everyone we have wanted to. We love you all and sometimes it gets jumbled together with all the chaos, but we really do appreciate the time we get to spend with friends and family we wouldn't see normally.

We have 5 more days to spend in Michigan and we will be living it to the fullest.
